Redding police Tuesday announced the arrest of five men allegedly involved in a string of serious crimes across the region, including a murder, a shooting, and three armed robberies.

The arrests were made as an ongoing investigation reached across the nation over 10 months. Authorities are still trying to identify other possible accomplices.

Authorities have charged the men in connection with the murder of Bradley Yoder in Redding last October. The men are also suspects in the armed take-over robbery of an indoor gardening supply store in Redding and a home invasion robbery in Live Oak. They are also facing charges related to a non-lethal shooting during a botched home invasion robbery, also in Redding.

All of the incidents occurred in October 2015. Authorities believe the men may have been involved in other incidents elsewhere in Northern California. The FBI and other agencies have helped with the case.

The suspects in custody range in age from 18 to 51. Three are originally from Hartford, Connecticut. The other two are from the Bronx, New York. Two of the men lived in Shingletown for a length of time.
