The Chico Enterprise Record reports that police say lockdowns have been lifted at all schools except Chico High where they expect to also lift the lockdown soon.
Chico Police has lifted earlier alert re: gunman. They investigated and found the report to be unsubstantiated. We are "all clear."

Several Chico schools are reportedly on precautionary lockdown while police search for a man with a gun due to a vague threat.
According to the Chico Enterprise Record, Chico Unified School District officials confirmed Chico Senior High, Inspire High School, Chico Junior High and Citrus School are locked down, despite no indication of any direct gun threat.
Chico State is operating normally, though monitoring the situation and providing updates to the campus community via social media and emergency alert notifications.
