This is NSPR’s new weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weeknight Mon-Fri at 6:30 p.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 in our region.
Tonight, we check in on how schools in rural areas are staying connected with their students, we hear from a medical worker who five years ago helped fight Ebola and is now helping battle COVID-19 in the small community of Round Mountain and in Redding, and we’ll hear a pleading message from a Chico doctor that’s trending on social media about how you can play a role in keeping him and his family safe.
We’ll be looking into any questions you have over the weekend, so make sure you send them to us so we can answer them next week. Call our message line 433-9216 or head to our website mysnpr.org.
For Friday, March 27, 2020, this is special coverage from North State Public Radio.
