Free workshop hosted by Chico Palestinian Advocacy Network and Chico Jews in Solidarity with Palestine. Come learn about the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement. This is a nonviolent global protest movement that was started by Palestinians to challenge Israeli occupation. These days a lot of people are feeling overwhelmed and helpless in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. This is one of several ways to take action in support of Palestinian freedom and self determination and to challenge what Israel has done and is doing to Gaza and the West Bank. Everyone is welcome who comes in a spirit of respect. Masking is encouraged to make the space more inclusive/accessible, but is not required.
