A man was rushed to Enloe Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds Monday afternoon, after being gunned down in Chico's Chapman-Mulberry neighborhood.
Authorities didn’t provide a motive for the shooting, which left the victim with several wounds — none that were considered life threatening. A suspect has not been identified, and the victim’s name was not disclosed. Gunshots were reported to police shortly after 4 p.m. Responding officers found a man lying in the roadway at 19th and Elm streets.
