The California Office of Emergency Services extended the deadline to sign-up for its debris removal program for the North Complex Fire.

The new deadline is Feb. 1. This is the second time the office has extended the deadline.

Anna Loughman, Butte County debris removal coordinator, said that 111 properties have begun the debris removal process.

“They are also assessing hazard trees, and so, 151 properties in Butte County have had their hazard trees assessed,” she said.

Property owners will need to submit a right of entry (ROE) form by Feb.1 to sign up for the program.

The forms are available online at Buttecountyrecovers.org. The county also has a ROE information desk at the Employment and Social Services Office in Oroville at 78 Table Mountain Blvd.
