This is NSPR’s new weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weeknight Mon-Fri at 6:30 p.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 in our region.
Today, it’s VIRUS 101 on this show. NSPR’s Blue Dot Host Dave Schlom checks in with a Chico State virologist about what we’ve learned since this pandemic started. He’ll ask questions like: How long can the virus live on surfaces? Is 6 feet enough to stay safe when social distancing? And do we know if this virus is seasonal? We’ll also hear from NSPR’s Up The Road Host Kim Weir about a delivery service dropping off groceries for your pets.
