This is NSPR’s weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weekday at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 for the North State.

May is Mental Health month in the United States, so today we’ll be focusing on mental health with Dr. Joyce Mikal-Flynn. The author, researcher, and professor will be discussing how to better take care of yourself during this pandemic and the fact that even though it might not feel like it now, crises like the one we’re facing can actually change your life for the better.

As always if you have questions or comments for us call us on our message line at 433-9216 or visit our website mynspr.org.

For Monday May 11, 2020. This is special coverage from North State Public Radio.
