This is NSPR’s weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weekday at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 for the North State.
Today we’ll hear from Butte County’s Public Health Director about contact tracing efforts after more than 180 people at a church in Palermo were exposed to COVID-19 during a Mother’s Day in-person church service. We’ll also hear from the district manager of Paradise Irrigation District about what the Governor’s plan to reallocate a $7.3 million grant aimed at helping after the 2018 Camp Fire could mean for the district and its customers.
