The virus has killed thousands and continues to spread rapidly across the world. NSPR aims to bring you accurate and comprehensive coronavirus coverage in the North State. This is NSPR’s weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weekday at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 for the North State.

Today, we’re taking a trip to Lassen County where still no cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. We’ll hear from the owner of an in-home care service that works with seniors about what challenges this pandemic has created there. We’ll also hear from a Chico State professor who just got off of a 28 deployment with the state’s disaster medical response team after working at a patient overflow facility in the Bay Area.
