This is NSPR’s weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weekday at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 for the North State.
We’re checking in with Plumas County about reopening, testing and, as we get closer to Memorial Day Weekend and summer, looking into one of the top concerns for residents there – tourists visiting and possibly bringing the virus with them.
We’re also focusing on wildfire, checking in with the Redding Fire Department’s Fire Marshal about this year’s predicted fire season and signing up for your county’s emergency alert system.
If you have story ideas or questions for us let us know on our message line 433-9216 or go to our website at mynspr.org.
Also, as COVID-19 testing ramps up of we want to hear from you about your experience being tested or if you haven’t been why not? Let us know again on our message line or you can email us at nsprnews@csuchico.edu.
For Wednesday, May 20, 2020. This is special coverage from North State Public Radio.
