Gov. Brown Appoints Supervisors in Sutter, Modoc Counties

Gov. Jerry Brown has made a couple of supervisor appointments. Sixty-eight-year-old Barbara LeVake of Yuba City has been named the Fifth District representative on the Sutter County Board of Supervisors. LeVake is a former supervisor, having served from 1989 to 1992. She is also a member of the Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency, the Farm Bureau and the Western Growers Association.

 

In Modoc County, the governor has appointed 58-year-old Patricia Cullins of Alturas to the Second District seat. Cullins was an eligibility supervisor at the Modoc County Office of Social Services from 2012 to 2013 and a previous personnel secretary of the Modoc Joint Unified School District. She also was a client specialist at the Modoc Crisis Center.
