Thirty years ago, Chico State professor Denise Minor thought she wanted to be a writer, but while in Spain discovered a passion for teaching. She went on to get a Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics, become a trainer of future Spanish teachers, and coauthor a book about language teaching called "On Being A Language Teacher."
