Host Nancy Wiegman explores the history of the Chapmans with local author Michele Shover. Chico's Chapmans explores the lives of Chico's residents and their struggles.

Michele Shover is an emerita professor and former chair of the Department of Political Science at California State University, Chico. For four decades, she has published primary research-based articles in California History, California Territorial Quarterly, and The Californians on significant aspects of northern Butte County history.
