What’s thought to be a double-homicide and attempted suicide in Orland on Sunday has left two dead and one critically injured.
According to the Chico Enterprise-Record, the Orland Police Department found a 16-year-old girl and 55-year-old man shot to death after responding to a call of shots fired in a trailer home on the 700 block of Mill Street.
A 19-year-old woman was also found shot and injured on the property. She is in critical condition and was taken to Enloe Medical Center where she underwent surgery.
All three victims are thought to be related – and a family disturbance reportedly took place before the shooting.
A handgun was found at the scene.
