We know there are hundreds of writers – published or unpublished – across the North State, and we want to bring many of them to air. If you’d like to submit some of your original short works, you’ll be considered for a spot in The Writer’s Room.

Please make sure that your original composition meets the submission guidelines below.

To be considered, send copies of your work to poetry@mynspr.org. If your work is selected, an NSPR producer will contact you to set up a time and place to record for broadcast.

Submission Guidelines:

• Must be the author’s original piece of work
• You can submit up to four pieces
• Submit with an email to poetry@mynspr.org
• Attach poems as a Word.doc or paste the text into the body of the email
• Each piece can be no more than two minutes in length
• Radio-friendly language (no swearing, hate speech, political or social rants) 
• Author to sign a broadcast release
