Tonight's program was upbeat and alive. Not that the show is usually drab and boring. I think you know what I mean. We heard from the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Discovery, Neon Indian, Arcade Fire, Grand National, Broken Social Scene and one of my favorites, Beck. I threw in some Motown this week, including Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell, Aaron Neville, The Main Ingredient and Aretha Franklin. I was in the mood for Pink Floyd so we heard a couple tracks from the album "Meddle". I also spinned The Velvet Underground and Tommy James and the Shondells. All in all a fun show full of variety and frogs in my throat. Thanks for tuning in!
