Dates Set For Possible Strike At 23 CSU Campuses

The California Faculty Association has set dates for a possible strike at 23 California State University campuses.

The Association represents 26,000 employees on CSU campuses.

Contract negotiations between the CFA and the California State University system have reached an impasse.

The CFA wants a 5 percent general salary increase for all faculty. CSU has offered 2 percent.

Potential strike dates are April 13-15 and April 18-19.

The CFA voted in October to authorize a strike if negotiations fail.

The salary talks started in May 2014.
