Work resumed Wednesday morning on the major flood protection project along the Feather River in southern Butte County that was delayed several months after the discovery of Native America artifacts during construction.

Work gets back underway on a major flood protection project along the Feather River. Multimillion dollar work shoring up century old levees was delayed as officials and local tribes worked to safeguard Native American artifacts found during construction.
