Volunteers and neighbors hauled several tons of trash, broken and apparently stolen items by hand from Chico’s Lindo Channel Sunday as part of a clean-up event sponsored in part by Chico Velo Cycling Club. 

Vounteers reported finding syringes, human waste, checkbooks, mail, soiled clothing and bedding, vehicle parts, bicycle frames and components, shoes, meal remnants, children’s homework and toys and pharmaceutical drugs.
