California Wildfire Victims Can Claim Federal Aid

Federal disaster aid will be available to victims of recent and ongoing wildfires in eight California counties. The funds are in addition to state assistance.

Victims who suffered a financial loss in Butte, Lake, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Sonoma or Yuba Counties can apply online or by telephone at 800-621-3362.

Help is available to both homeowners and those paying rent. Money may be available for temporary housing, essential home repairs, uninsured and under-insured personal property losses and other disaster related needs not covered by insurance.
