It’s been nearly four years since the Camp Fire swept through Paradise and its surrounding communities on November 8, 2018. This Saturday, people will be gathering in the town to commemorate the Camp Fire. Here are some of the commemorative events being held this weekend:
Saturday, November 5
When: 8 AM - 1 PM
Where: Start at Paradise Intermediate School, 5657 Recreation Drive, Paradise
When: 11 AM - 5 PM
Where: Terry Ashe Recreation Center, 6626 Skyway, Paradise
Equilibrium Community Wellness Center grand opening
When: 2 PM - 5 PM
Where: Paradise Stronger, 6828 Skyway Suite P, Paradise
When: 10:30 AM - 1 PM
Where: Butte Creek Ecological Preserve (BCEP), From Highway 99 south of Chico, take Skyway Road east. Turn left on Honey Run Road for about 1 mile. The reserve is on the right side of the road.
