It’s hard to know what the new Paradise will be once it’s rebuilt and to know how many people will stay. For some possible insight we turn to a place that’s a year ahead in its fire recovery efforts.

 

 

In October of 2017, the Tubbs Fire destroyed several thousand homes in the wine country town of Santa Rosa. One of the neighborhoods hardest hit was Coffey Park. The first residents to this area moved back about seven months after that fire and more families have been returning since. From KRCB, reporter Adia White has the story.
