Author Bonnie Pipkin is celebrating the possibility of her novel Aftercare Instructionsheading to television. Originally from California, she has an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, was a teacher of literature courses at Kean University, and officiates weddings. Aftercare Instructions is Bonnie’s first novel.

 

Her novel takes place over the course of a week, starting with the day Genesis and her boyfriend Peter go to a Planned Parenthood in New York City for a procedure. 

Also, Author Larry M. Levin speaks about The Leon Lewis Band. The book traces the lives of the fascinating characters who comprise the band - the musicians as well as family, friends, and other unique characters they meet along the way.

Nancy Wiegman has a master's degree in French linguistics from Indiana University and taught yoga and foreign languages at CSU Fresno and the College of Charleston before moving to Chico in 1990.
