Prior to joining the newsroom, he was the director of digital content for WAMU’s 1A, and a member of the team that helped launch the show.In his time as a reporter and editor, Gabe has covered everything from city hall to senate campaigns; from Sasquatch sightings to squirrel hunts. He spent six years at Louisville Public Media as a reporter, editor and later director of news and editorial strategy.   • Ryan Caron King is a freelance multimedia reporter at WNPR. As an intern, he created short web videos to accompany some of WNPR's reporting online. As a student at the University of Connecticut, he managed UConn's college radio station WHUS, where he headed an initiative to launch a recording and video production studio. Ryan graduated from UConn with a Journalism/English double major in 2015.
