End-of-life healthcare in the Camp Fire burn scar | California Republicans call for overturning Martin v. Boise | Medicaid ‘unwinding’ breeds chaos in states
Wednesday marks five years since the Camp Fire; one group of fire survivors that sometimes gets overlooked is patients of end-of-life care. Shasta County Supervisor Patrick Jones withheld a letter from California’s attorney general’s office that cleared the district attorney of misconduct. His colleagues voted this week to investigate whether Jones broke any laws by not sharing the letter.
