Poet Lucinda Watson shares work from her first book of poetry, "The Favorite," published by Golden Antelope Press.
Her work is published in various journals. This is her first collection gathered together in a book.
She considers her work to be somewhat autobiographical. Still, she feels they also reflect the thoughts and feelings of many young women experiencing the world and dealing with disappointments, life, and beyond.
Also, Northern California writer Meghan Turner shares her collection of poetry with "Auburn & Ink: Poetry by Meghan Irene Turner."
Inspired by her own experiences and the vast world of art and literature, she is a survivor of the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California. She credits much of her recent art to the rebirth following the fire.
Her work has been featured in several art shows and published in several literary compilations.
