Butte County officials estimate millions in storm damages

California continues to recover from last month’s powerful winter storms. In Butte County, officials estimate damage to roads and other infrastructure is about $5.5 million — a number that was expected to rise.

Redding City Council awards $1.5M contract to create plan for riverfront property

The Redding City Council Tuesday voted to hire a contractor to create a specific plan for developing its Sacramento riverfront property. The contract went to consultant firm MIG and subcontractor Populous.
