Producer Seeks Out 'Scenes Of Everyday Life' Two Blocks Away From Ground Zero

Jen Hsu, a video producer for WNYC, our member station in New York City, looked for "scenes of everyday life" two blocks away from Ground Zero.

Here's her introduction to the short film:

These days, if you're down around the site of the planned Islamic cultural center and mosque two blocks from Ground Zero, you might find a few protesters. But mostly you'll find a New York neighborhood going about its usual business.

Consider this an antidote to the media frenzy, a snapshot of real life.
