All 21 early warning siren towers now operational in Paradise | Kevin Crye recall in Shasta County too close to call | Chico art exhibit asks residents to question assumptions on homelessness

Also, as preliminary voting results continue to be counted in Shasta County the recall election of Supervisor Kevin Crye now has a narrow margin, and Sunday is the last day to see a new art exhibit at MONCA that asks Chico residents to question their assumptions on homelessness.

Also, California has been hit hard by what weather forecasters are calling a dangerous atmospheric river storm, and Shasta County is empowering residents who have a Concealed Carry Weapons license to possess concealed firearms in designated areas on county property.

Dixie Fire Canopy Project to host plant giveaway | North State counties saw higher voter turnout than state for primary election | New tiny homes for unhoused residents in Redding
A nonprofit in Greenville hopes to repair the landscape lost in the Dixie Fire by replanting trees and shrubs in the burn scar. The Dixie Fire Canopy Project will host its first planting and seedling giveaway in April. Also, election results have been certified in Butte County. Voter turnout was nearly 47% and higher than the state average which was also true for other North State counties, and a new tiny home community for unhoused residents could soon open in Redding.
