Many lightning-caused fires are still burning in and near Trinity County.
· The Mad River Complex is burning nearly 32 square miles south of Highway 36 and around Ruth Lake. It’s 40 percent contained. The Forest Glen area is under mandatory evacuations.
· The Route Complex is now more than 40 square miles and is 19 percent contained. Closures are in effect on Highway 36 from Lower Mad River Road to Lower Rattlesnake Road, with more closures in the area to non-residents. The end of Kerlin Creek Road is under mandatory evacuations. Use Road 301 to Hayfork.
· Near Hyampom, lots of mandatory evacuations are still in place due to the 24-square-mile South Complex. It’s 13 percent contained.
· The Fork Complex, near Hayfork and Peanut, has grown to 40 square miles and is 24 percent contained. The Solid Rock Christian Church in Hayfork is serving as the evacuation center.
· North of 299, the River Complex is now 37 square miles in size and is 12 percent contained. There’s a community meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the Umpqua Bank in Willow Creek. There will be another informational meeting tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Neighborhood Facilities Building in Hoopa.

· The Jerusalem Fire northeast of Middletown is now more than 25 square miles. It’s forced evacuations of the Jerusalem Valley east of Spruce Grove and is threatening 50 structures. An evacuation center has been set up at Middletown High School, 20932 Big Canyon Road. The fire is 6 percent contained.
· Near Lake Berryessa, 1,400 firefighters have made significant progress on the Rocky Fire. It’s now 88 percent contained at more than 108 square miles. All evacuations and road closures have been lifted.
