·        A meeting about the River Complex is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Umpqua bank branch in Willow Creek.

Currently fires in Trinity County are burning more than 250 square miles. Clean Air Shelters have been set up due to hazardous air conditions from high levels of smoke.

·        The Route Complex is 54 square miles and is 37 percent contained. Mandatory evacuations remain in effect. Firefighters are currently battling uphill runs. Isolated torching has been reported.

Elsewhere in California at least seven active wildfires are currently burning. In Northern California:

·        A nearly 4 square mile fire is burning in between Livermore and Tracy in Alameda County. The Tesla Fire was first reported Wednesday. It’s being fueled by grass and brush near an area of isolated farm and ranch structures. It’s 25 percent contained.

·        In Humboldt County, a nearly half-a-square-mile fire is continuing to grow. Strong winds off the ocean are contributing the fires spread. The Horse Fire is located near Saddle Mountain Road, six miles northeast of Shelter Cove. It’s 10 percent contained.

·        In Lake and Napa counties, the Jerusalem Fire is still 95 percent contained. It’s torched about 40 square miles in the Jerusalem Valley area, northeast of Middletown.

Recently contained fires:

·        Humboldt Lightning Fires (Humboldt County) – These fires were fully contained at about 8 square miles.

·        West Fire (Butte County) – This vegetation fire was burning near West Way at 18th Street in Oroville on Wednesday. It was fully contained at 2 acres.
