Radioland's Return to Paradise

Following the devastating Camp Fire, cherished Theatre on the Ridge remained standing amidst the destruction. To commemorate this resilience, the theatre inaugurated its 2019 season with a unique installment of its renowned Radioland shows, marking the first performance since the disaster. The production was tenderly named “A Love Letter to Paradise.” Now they’re bringing it back.

    Chico icon, Jonathan Richman, is celebrating the release of his 18th studio album, "Only Frozen Sky Anyway." He returns to the Chico stage with a series of shows this week, featuring Tommy Larkins on drums. There will be three performances at Naked Lounge, starting tonight and running through Saturday. Those will be followed by two shows at The Pageant on Monday.

    MarchFourth, an energetic spectacle of music and visuals, was formed 22 years ago in Portland on Mardi Gras Day. The psychedelic punk rock marching band circus troupe stretches from Oregon to New Orleans. Their show features electric bass, guitar, percussion, horns, dancers, acrobatics, stilt-walkers, a live visual artist and a diverse musical repertoire.

    With over 100 local artists, makers, crafters and vendors, this festival has something to appeal to everyone. All pets are welcome, if they’re properly leashed or contained.
