Also, the Butte Prescribed Burn Association is working to prevent catastrophic wildfires in the county. They treated 200 acres with fire last year.

Plus, Paradise residents might have the option to choose a cheaper energy provider soon. The town council approved a motion yesterday to move towards adding Pioneer Community Energy as an alternative to PG&E.
