Appeal For Donations From Siskiyou, Southern Oregon For Carr Fire Victims

Aug 3, 2018

The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office is helping raise funds for Carr Fire victims in conjunction with a surviving member of a family that suffered grievous losses.

Donations will be transferred and distributed by Pedro GTP Relief, a non-profit organization established for Carr Fire victims.

Items especially needed include diapers, diaper wipes, soap, toothbrushes, tampons, socks, underwear, non-perishable foods, bottled water and clothing. Organizers prefer unopened and unused items but will accept anything.

Donations can be dropped off at Life Foursquare Church, located at 900
North Street in Yreka, through Wednesday.

On Wednesday, donations can also be dropped off at G&G Ace Hardware in Yreka, the Mount Shasta City Police Department, Ray’s Food Place in Ft. Jones, and at the Montague Community Hall.

Donations will be transported to Redding and distributed beginning Thursday.

Questions should be directed to the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 530-841-2900.
