This weekend Cal Fire reportedly responded to four small fires in the North State:
· In Trinity County a small 3-acre fire was reported Saturday near the recently contained 1,500-acre Saddle Fire. The fire was first reported as a separate incident, but ended up being within the Saddle Fire’s containment lines. Patches of fire and smoke are expected to continue behind the Saddle Fire's control lines even though it's been 100% contained.
· On Saturday in Butte County a fire destroyed a travel trailer and burned part of a single-family home in town of Thermalito. Grand Avenue was closed for a time during the incident, but has since been reopened. The fire’s cause is currently unknown and under investigation.
· Also in Butte County on Sunday downed power lines ignited two separate fires along Deadwood Road in the community of Concow. Cal Fire reports that fire crews quickly contained both fires at ½ acre.
