A man attacked a woman and stole her car in Grass Valley early Sunday morning. Police have a warrant for 50-year-old Alan Kierkegaard in connection with the assault on 78-year-old Mary Grace Tassone. He may be in the stolen car, a gray 2013 Honda Accord. Tassone was a volunteer at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grass Valley. The attack took place as she was opening the church doors at 5:30 Sunday morning.
