Jesse Goolsby : I'd Walk With My Friends If I Could Find Them

Writer and Air Force officer Jesse Goolsby grew up in Chester, Calfornia. He taught at the Air Force Academy and his work at the Pentagon included visits to Walter Reed Medical Center. He is now an award-winning author of this novel set before, during, and after the war in Afghanistan. The story follows three protagonists and is not about battles but about human connections.

Nancy Wiegman has a master's degree in French linguistics from Indiana University and taught yoga and foreign languages at CSU Fresno and the College of Charleston before moving to Chico in 1990.
