The Chico Visual Arts Alliance (ChiVAA) is once again sponsoring a fun-filled Mother's Day weekend extravaganza, Friday May 10, 4-8pm and Saturday, May 11, 10am-4pm at the beautiful St. John's Episcopal Church, 2341 Floral Avenue in Chico. This Mother's Day weekend event will showcase local artists displaying paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and so much more. There will be children's activities, demonstrations, live music, food trucks and a margarita bar. ChiVAA has 4 main goals for this event: to showcase local artists, promote Chico as an arts destination, educate the public about the variety and value of art in the community, as well as providing a Chico-style Mother's Day celebration.
