This exciting concert showcases young pianists from the Butte County branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California. The program features Allie Braito, Lilianne Tao, Aiden Rogers, Devin Cheng and Benjamin Breed. For the concertos and arias, Dr. Robert Bowman will perform the orchestral parts on piano.

Works spanning some 300 years include a concerto and fantasia of Mozart, a Bach prelude and concerto, Beethoven sonatas, a Schubert sonata, a Chopin étude, William Bolcom’s “Graceful Ghost Rag” and Frank Zappa’s “What’s New in Baltimore.”

Masks are encouraged, but not required. The live concert will be canceled if there is a surge in Covid cases. Regardless, the performance will be live-streamed to the PAS YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/PASRedding) and will be available indefinitely.
