Jerry Brown's Parole Measure and Politics at the California Supreme Court

The fate of a measure Governor Jerry Brown wants on the November ballot is now in the hands of the California Supreme Court. Prosecutors are fighting the measure, which would change criminal sentencing laws. The issue puts the state's highest court in a bit of a pickle.
