With the storm, we do have some chain restrictions.
Chains are required on all vehicles on State Route 89 between McCloud and Mt. Shasta. This excludes some four-wheel drives with snow tread.
Chains are required on trucks and buses on 36 at and east of State Route 3, and farther west on 36 between Mineral and Chester.
