The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are authorized to conduct a $3 million study of possible actions to ecologically restore the Yuba River, and they’re seeking public input on the process.
The first public meeting happened Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento.
There’s one Thursday in Nevada City at 5 p.m. at the Nevada County Community Room. The last is next Wednesday, in Marysville at 5 at the Yuba County Government Center Conference Room.
The Yuba County Water Agency is splitting the cost of the study.
After public comments, one agreed-upon solution will be sent to Congress.
