Chico police are searching for three teenage arsonists, suspected of lighting up the town early Tuesday morning.
Three separate fires were allegedly set, torching a motorcycle, a car, a boat and a mailbox in a subdivision off of Notre Dame Boulevard. Police said the vehicles were utterly destroyed.
Windows on a nearby commercial building were also shattered. Items apparently snatched from several vehicles were found scattered around the neighborhood.
Witnesses reported seeing a trio teenage boys leaving the area as the fires broke out. They are still at large.
