Rebuilding is happening and gathering speed. A new, ultra-low interest loan program is announced by the US Department of Agriculture, along with direct cash grants for lower income individuals age 62 and older...and FEMA’s largest site, with roughly 400 trailers will soon welcome its first families.

NSPR has been checking in with representatives from local, state and federal agencies every week as recovery efforts continue in the wake of the Camp Fire within the Town of Paradise and vast areas of unincorporated Butte County that were also devastated. 

 

Earlier today, Marc Albert had the opportunity to check in with Debra Young of FEMA, Justin Jacobs with CalOES, Casey Hatcher spokeswoman for Butte County and Colette Curtis, public information officer for the Town of Paradise.
