Faye Dunaway and Jack Nicholson team up on screen and portray a simmering intensity in "Chinatown," set against the backdrop of 1930s Los Angeles. The film depicts the city as a hotbed of corruption, with a narrative firmly rooted in the historical reality of California's "water wars."

Chico Latin Orchestra

Established in Chico in 2019, the Chico Latin Orchestra is dedicated to introducing the vibrant Afro-Caribbean sounds of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, and Bachata to Northern California. Individually, the members are versatile musicians, dancers and artists with diverse musical backgrounds.
