Explore vivid spaces and imaginative scenes in the exhibition, “Life is Short, Art is Long." Dr. Robert Puckett, also known as Dobbin Von Puck, visualizes and paints the world as he perceives it. He considers his vibrant paintings to be like "colorful poems" cast into the "sea of time."

In 1917, two young music students at the Boston Conservatory forged a friendship through their mutual passion for folk music. Chico is set to host acclaimed psych-pop songwriter Luke Sweeney, who will be performing tracks from his recently released album, "Novel Tea." Bidwell Park & Chico Creeks Cleanup

A cleanup for Chico's waterways and natural habitats is being put on by the Butte Environmental Council. Volunteers will help preserve wildlife and ensure safe, healthy waterways for the community by removing litter and debris from creeks, trails and green spaces. A free pizza lunch will be provided for volunteers.5
