Snow White

The Grand Kyiv Ballet presents Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The ballet is inspired by the classic fairy tale set to the music of Polish composer, Bogdan Pavlovsky. It is performed by an international cast of dancers from Ukraine, Italy, Spain and the US. The Grand Kyiv Ballet is famous for its high-quality touring productions.

Musical ensemble March Fourth is essentially a vibrant blend of a psychedelic punk-rock marching band and circus performance group. Their sound features guitar, bass, a rhythm section and a seven-member brass section, augmented by stilt walkers, dancers, acrobats and an on-stage visual artist.

They are known for their intensity, high volume and ability to keep the audience moving.

This edition of BassMint is dedicated to showcasing three up-and-coming electronic music producers who are making waves in the underground scene. Each artist brings a unique flavor to the world of sub-bass. The lineup includes A Sword in the Stone, Johnny Small and Fal$e Profit.

Heated Rivalry Night

Club 90s is hosting a "Heated Rivalry" themed evening. For those keeping up with the times, HBO's "Heated Rivalry" is one of the biggest shows on television. Guests can expect to hear classic pop hits, LGBTQ+ anthems and continuous, energetic tracks inspired by the series.

The event will feature a picture booth, complimentary items and a disc jockey playing music until the early hours.


MOVE + MAKE + EXPLORE

Butte County Museum Weekend

Butte County is marking Museum Weekend with free admission to 15 museums and galleries this Saturday and Sunday. Organizers say each location will feature a new exhibit or special event. A list of participating museums can be found here.

Lit Fest

The Lit Fest celebrates literacy, composition, narrative arts and published works. It is a joint effort of local schools, universities and creatives. The event will feature spoken word, short fiction readings, regional writer signings and a human vs. AI poetry competition.

Good Fire Workshop

  • Noble Park, Paradise

  • Free

Those interested in deepening their knowledge of fire's ecological role in the region are encouraged to attend the Good Fire Workshop. Participants will receive instruction on traditional cultural burning techniques from expert He-Lo Ramirez.

Black History Month Parking Lot Pop-up

  • Stonewall Alliance Center of Chico Parking Lot

  • Free

The pop-up is back for the fourth year. This event features Black-owned businesses, local food vendors, artisans and community resources.
