NSPR Takes You Places - Little River Rendezvous
At NSPR, we are taking you places: across the street, around the world, up the road, and throughout the North State. Every day you count on us for local and statewide news, the finest reporting from NPR, PRI, BBC, and APM, and outstanding music and entertainment.
It's Day 2 of our Spring Membership Drive, and we're raising all the money in half the time — just two days and three hours left!
Over the next several days we're giving away prizes that will take you places, including a trip for two to Washington, D.C., for five nights and four days. This incredible grand prize includes a private VIP tour of NPR, tickets to the Capitol Steps, $1,000 airfare, and five nights’ lodging. It’s a priceless opportunity for a devoted NSPR member.

Day 2 Challenge and Drawing Details:
From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Alex Project is sponsoring a $1,000 New Sustaining Member challenge with a goal of gaining 20 to 30 new or renewing Sustaining Members per hour. Gifts will be matched dollar for dollar up to $1,000.
From 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., we have an anonymous $1,5000 challenge from two Tower Society members in Redding. They want to challenge all teachers and parents of Grant Elementary School and Shasta High School in Redding, with a focus on receiving support from educators and parents in the North State. Gifts will be matched dollar for dollar up to $1,500.
Day 2 Prize Drawing - May 4 at 7 p.m.
North State Public Radio is excited to send a lucky listener on a weekend getaway to the Little River Inn perched on the Mendocino Coast!
This prize includes:
· A two-night stay at the Little River Inn
· 18 holes of golf plus cart at the Little River Inn course
· Three-hour canoe excursion on Big River for two
· 40% discount on two one-hour massages
The drawing will be held Wednesday, May 4, at 7 p.m.
