NSPR's Redding Home

Old City Hall, located at 1313 Market Street, is the new Redding home of North State Public Radio.
Built in 1907, the historic building formerly housed the Redding council chambers, city offices, police department, and the jail.
Today, the Shasta Arts Council (SAC) operates the facility on behalf of the City of Redding, hosting art exhibits in the beautiful gallery, broadcasting community access television, and presenting concerts and community events.
NSPR is excited to be partnering with SAC and looks forward to producing an Americana/folk music series from Old City Hall beginning in late fall. The concerts presented in the lovely upstairs council chamber will likely seat 140 and will be rebroadcast as a new program we are calling NSPR Town Hall Meeting. NSPR is investing in new audio equipment for the space, and with SAC, hopes to make Old City Hall a great addition to the Redding music scene. “Like” us on Facebook for updates on this exciting new endeavor.
